In his opinion insurance business worldwide had been badly hit during the past one and a half years due to the pandemic and Nepal is no exception to that. We have been going through dwindling revenues, gross lack of customer acquisition and diminishing customer retention even with strong customer support. However, with the economic situation turning back, even though slowly; and restrictions being loosened to some extent, it is now the most opportunistic moment to surge ahead by increasing insurance awareness and exploring untapped potential. Enhanced focus needs to be given on agricultural and micro-insurance.
In today’s service market, brand building depends on service quality, credibility and trustworthiness. For this to achieve, we have to penetrate into every segment of the market with appropriate schemes, sincere and prompt customer care, and service delivery beyond the promise.
Delivery of quality product in the service sector grossly depends on the morale and motivation of the service providers and that is why enhancing customer happiness is the cornerstone in ensuring better business. It is a win-win proposition for all – the company, the employees and the customers.
The team at NIC Nepal will endeavour sincerely to serve the interests of our customers and to envision a clear path towards achievement of greater success.
